The goal is to enable companies to mobilize their BTC reserves as collateral to obtain yen-denominated liquidity in the form of digital assets, while maintaining their exposure to Bitcoin.

The operation led to 12 arrests, the seizure of crypto assets as well as €45,000 worth of computer equipment.
