Just been reading through some cycle analysis and honestly, the question everyone's asking now is how far will bitcoin drop. Some analysts are pretty bearish - they're talking $40K as a possible bottom if we follow historical patterns. We're already down from that $120K peak, and looking at the current price around $66.7K, there's definitely room for more pain if this bear cycle extends into 2026 like they're predicting. The technical picture shows key support zones between $40-50K where long-term holders' average cost basis sits. What's interesting is the timing - if the four-year cycle still holds, we might not see a real bottom until May or October 2026. That's a long wait if you're holding bags right now. But here's the thing - even with all this bearish talk, most of the big players still think we'll see new ATHs eventually, probably after we find that bottom. So yeah, more downside is possible, but it's probably not the end of the story.
