I just took another look at some coins that many were trading as rockets for 2025—and I have to honestly say, the reality looks different from the forecasts back then.
For example, BNB: the coin was supposed to go toward $750, but it's currently trading at $586. That's a significant correction from the all-time highs. Still, it's interesting—if you look at the technical levels, there might still be some potential. The real question is: which cryptocurrency will explode when market conditions turn around again?
SUI has fought a similar battle. The new all-time high of $4.85 from back then—now the price has fallen to $0.88. Crazy, right? But that's also where the opportunity lies: if SUI regains momentum and network activity picks up, the question of which cryptocurrency will explode again becomes relevant.
iDEGEN was the hype back then with the AI meme concept and the dynamic pricing model. I can't say for sure if that's still ongoing, but it shows: the market is constantly looking for the next big story.
My observation: Currently, optimism is more subdued than months ago. But that's often when the most interesting setups emerge. Anyone taking seriously which cryptocurrency will explode should now focus on fundamentals and real adoption instead of just hype. Coins with real utility—like Sui with its blockchain integrations—could become interesting again in the long term. Wait and watch, then position yourself properly instead of buying into the crash.
