The URBA Top 14 has started, and honestly, the classics were the highlight. SIC literally dominated Belgrano, 58 to 18. It’s like the team came hungry for revenge after everything. The forwards controlled the scrum, the ball moved along the wings, tries all over the place.

But what I was most hooked on was the Alumni vs. CUBA match—that was real excitement. 27-25 at home, super tight until the end. Those kinds of classics are what keep you glued to the screen. And speaking of classics, Argentina vs. Cuba in rugby is rare to see here in URBA, but well, the level CUBA showed was respectable for a narrow loss.

Newman, as reigning champions, showed no mercy, 31-3 over Buenos Aires. Hindú also crushed it with 52-18. The Matreros, in their debut, beat Regatas 27-25—that was pretty good for a newly promoted team. CASI also had a strong start, crushing Champagnat 40-16.

Now SIC, Hindú, and Newman each start with 5 points. The next round will be interesting; SIC vs. Los Matreros is going to be a great match.
