Trump 2.0: The Jungle-ized World Order
The second Trump administration in the United States has been in office for a year. Soon, the world will be dominated by the “jungle law” of the survival of the fittest. The submission of the weak will lead to the strengthening of the strong, and the exercise of American power has already begun to overstep boundaries.
Japanese companies provide large “donations” to the United States
It is claimed that a major Japanese bank, at the request of the U.S. side, provided 400 million yen to the U.S. Embassy in Japan. The reason given is to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence. This is an unprecedented “donation” even higher than the 50 million yen during the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
Japan’s major trading companies and large automakers have also entered their names in the donation ledger, and the amount of Japan’s donations may exceed 10 billion yen. The United States has explained to the Japan side that the money will be used to throw a party. Japanese companies have questioned its reasonableness, but at the same time believe that “in today’s United States in the Trump 2.0 era, no one can resist.”

The Nikkei Economic News Agency and The Financial Times merged into the same media group in November 2015. An alliance between two newspaper publishers—Japan and the UK—both founded in the 19th century is moving forward with cooperation across a wide range of areas, with “high-quality, the strongest economic journalism” as its banner.
