People’s Finance and News, April 1—On the afternoon of March 31, local time, at the White House, the U.S. President, Donald Trump, responded to a reporter’s question about “U.S. gasoline prices having already surpassed $4 per gallon.” He said, “As long as U.S. forces leave Iran, gasoline prices will crash in response.” When the reporter pressed him again on whether he meant “withdrawing from Iran or ending the war,” Trump added that U.S. forces “may leave within two to three weeks. If an agreement is reached with Iran, perhaps the fighting could end even earlier.” Trump also said that regime change was not “one of his initial goals.” He has only one goal: that Iran cannot obtain nuclear weapons. “And that goal has been achieved; U.S. forces are completing the final task.” (CCTV News)
