Hey, if you're in Mexico City today, you'd better get ready because there are a lot of blockades and protests in various areas. I just saw on the Mexico City news that Cuauhtémoc will be the most affected, with 6 different protests throughout the day. From 9 a.m. at Torre del Caballito to 3 p.m. at the Zócalo, it will be difficult to get around there.
There are also movements in other boroughs—Milpa Alta, Iztacalco, Tlalpan, and Coyoacán have their own protests. If you work or live around those areas, it's better to find alternative routes because the streets will be blocked at several points. Insurgentes Avenue, Periférico Sur, Miguel Ángel de Quevedo... basically, the main arteries will be crowded.
The Security Department has already released the schedule of mobilizations, so it's no surprise. If you're checking the Mexico City news, it's best to plan early so you don't get stuck. Are you around the city today? Which area?
