Just caught wind that Westlake Epoxy is pushing into India through Brenntag - pretty interesting move considering how big that market's getting. They're basically extending their whole epoxy portfolio (EPON, EPIKOTE, EPIKURE, EPI-REZ lines) into South and West India, which makes sense given the infrastructure boom happening there.

The thing is, India's coatings, adhesives and construction sectors have been on fire with all the urbanization and investment pouring in. Brenntag's already got solid regional infrastructure and technical chops, so combining that with Westlake's proven epoxy tech could be a real advantage for customers dealing with local performance and regulatory stuff.

Brian Powers from Westlake mentioned they wanted to support customers more closely in what's basically one of the world's fastest-growing markets for this sector. Sanjay Karkhanis on the Brenntag side echoed that - they're positioned well in South and West India to handle tailored solutions. Feels like the kind of partnership that works because both sides bring something concrete to the table rather than just slapping names together. Curious to see how this plays out as India's construction and manufacturing keep scaling up.
