Over two days, he totaled 161 (+17) and did not make the cut, which was projected at +2. Grillo's best performance at The Players remains 2017 when he finished 11th. This time, nothing went his way.

While Aberg was making 29 strokes on the first nine holes (tying the course record), the leaders from the first day fell apart.
