Friend-making apps, I've been trying out various ones recently, and I realized that apps aimed at working adults are more feature-rich than I expected. Especially, there are many apps exclusively for women, and it's impressive how much they focus on safety. Favomatch, for example, is specialized in finding friends for supporting favorite idols, and Touch has 24-hour monitoring and strict identity verification, which provides a sense of security.

It's also interesting that some apps like Dote Match and Tipsys allow interaction through a timeline feature, giving a social media feel. The ability to search on holidays and find compatible people using hobby cards probably increases the accuracy of matching when actually meeting up. Since making friends as a working adult can be quite challenging, these kinds of thoughtful features, though subtle, are very important.

For men, Bumble is cheaper, and the BFF mode makes it easy to switch to a friend-making purpose. Tinder also allows same-gender searches, so you can find not only opposite-sex but also same-sex friends, which is great. Honestly, there are significant differences in safety measures across apps, so I think it's better to prioritize that when choosing. Apps with features like women-only access or mandatory identity verification tend to have a higher chance of actually making friends.
