I've heard that many people in the crypto community use the word "worker" as slang, but not everyone understands what it actually means. Let me explain.
A worker is essentially a hired professional, but the term comes from anglicism and has become common in the Russian-speaking crypto community. Usually, it refers to people who work on specific tasks within crypto teams under an agreement.
When is this needed? Here's a scenario: an investor has capital but doesn't have the time or desire to handle operational activities themselves—such as marketing, community management, development, or other tasks. In this case, they look for workers who will take on this work.
This creates a collaboration between the financier and the performers. "Worker" is slang that describes this particular type of working relationship in crypto projects. Informal, but effective.
