Aspecta pre-market trading has now been launched, with the project's FDV approaching 820 million USD. Although we missed the quota allocation during the 300 million FDV phase earlier, this time we decided to try out the derivatives shorting feature. We opened a short position at approximately 1 KEY ≈ 0.94 USD (corresponding to an FDV of about 940 million USD), and now the position has been closed with profits. I have to admit that this was my first time using this feature, so I was quite cautious and only shorted 1 KEY. However, this experiment gave me a more intuitive understanding of the derivatives tools available for pre-market trading.

Can you still make a profit by shorting before the market opens? It seems those who didn't get in this wave have actually avoided something.

Haha, finally experiencing the thrill of shorting, even if it's just a move of 1 KEY.

---

I should have gone all in if I knew it was this fun. What a pity.

---

Wait, opening a short at $0.94? That's quite bold.

---

Pre-market derivatives are indeed fun. Next time, dare to add more and try.

---

Only daring to do 1 KEY is indeed a bit conservative haha.

---

Is this how you make money? Looks like I need to review this set of tools.

---

Missing out on 300 million FDV is really incredible. Now at 940 million, and still daring to short, that's really brave.

ngl shorting 1 KEY at 0.94 feels like dipping ur toe in the abyss... but hey, at least u caught the narrative shift before it got too obvious. that's the thing about pre-market derivatives—they're basically sentiment distilled into price action. missed the 300M round but made it back thru the shorting game, the poetic justice of it all lmao

Missed out on 300 million early on, now opening short positions at a valuation of 940 million... This wave of capital efficiency calculation is quite interesting, and the data indeed shows arbitrage opportunities. It's just that a single KEY's position is a bit cautious, but the attitude towards derivatives before the first trial is quite rational, at least on-chain evidence is right here.

Hmm... It's satisfying to make some small profit from short positions, but I'm just worried about a rebound hitting me in the face later, haha.

Haha, finally got to eat the shorts' meat. Although I only moved 1 KEY, making a profit is a profit.

Haha brother, you're really brave to leave only one key empty? I need to learn from your caution.

Haha, finally tasted the thrill of shorting. Although it was just a small test with 1 KEY, it really feels great.

ngl, shorting 1 KEY at 0.94 is kinda smart move tbh... but fundamentally speaking, this is exactly why my students always ask me about derivatives hedging strategies. here's the key insight: you just discovered what I call the "asymmetric optionality" principle. risky play but props for getting actual alpha, fr fr
