$LQTY rose 12% today, but don't rush in.

The Liquity protocol is quite interesting - it allows for interest-free lending on Ethereum and supports liquid staking tokens like wstETH and rETH, and users can set their own interest rates. Compared to some mainstream lending platforms, the costs are indeed much lower.

But there is no big news behind this wave of rise. The current price of $0.53 has dropped 99.6% compared to the ATH of $146 in 2021. This decline is harsher than 95% of DeFi projects.

So this round of rebound is more like a technical repair after a significant decline. The low-cost advantage of the protocol itself still exists, but the distance from the historical high also indicates that market sentiment has changed long ago.
