I’ve been absent from posting for several months, taking time to reflect on significant errors in judgment during this market cycle. For eight years, I put everything into this, working tirelessly without breaks, holidays, or days off, a choice that may have eventually partially contributed to my downfall.
Critical miscalculations and a failure to adapt to an evolving, unpredictable market has led to substantial setbacks. The recent market crash wiped out much of my progress during a time when I expected to reach new heights, much like Bitcoin’s current position. This loss forced a difficult period of introspection, making me confront my mistakes and my failure to evolve from past cycles. Admitting your the problem is hard.
But Dwelling on past failures doesn’t get you anywhere in such an evolving & competitive market. Success demands continuous adaptability, a quality I’ve struggled to maintain consistently this cycle . I became set in my ways, mistakenly believing that strategies from past cycles would carry me through this one the same way. They didn’t. Still, I’m determined to rebuild with the little I have left.
I started this journey in different circumstances to many, homeless and living out of a car, and recent events, driven by poor risk management, have brought me painfully close to that point again. Leaving my house next month as a result as it’s not in my Price range anymore . Maybe it’s something I needed to rebuild properly and correct past mistakes. Losing eight years of progress in a single market cycle hurts deeply but there’s nobody to blame but yourself for mistakes you make no matter the cause. Risk management went out the window. But I’m confident that with discipline, persistence, and renewed focus, recovery is achievable one day . It’s all Numbers on a screen at the end of the day. Even though circumstances are about to change for me. If I built it once, I can build it again. The time to recommit and lock in is now, opportunities in this market wait for no one. Sharing this as I’m sure others have also been hit hard in past months. We can rebuild. But this time smarter & stronger.
