Hey, does anyone else wake up with a bloated stomach? I've been looking for a tea to reduce intestinal inflammation that actually works, and I just found out about several options that people swear help. They're not miracles, but at least they're natural and worth trying.

The one that caught my attention the most is soursop leaf infusion. Apparently, it has antibacterial and antioxidant properties that some studies say are powerful. You prepare it by boiling a liter of water, adding the leaves, letting it simmer for 30 minutes until it reduces by half, straining, letting it cool, and then adding lemon and honey. Sounds easy.

There's also the classic mint and anise tea, which they say is the best for colon inflammation and stomach spasms. One tablespoon of anise, 10 grams of mint in 250 ml of water, boil it, let it steep for 10 minutes, and drink on an empty stomach. Many people swear by this.

Chamomile also appears as an option to reduce intestinal inflammation, especially if you're looking to relax your body. You just need a tea bag or flowers in 250 ml of boiling water, steep for 5 to 10 minutes, and that's it.

And if gas is your issue, cardamom with its essential oil stimulates digestion. Boil 500 ml of water with 4 or 5 seeds for 2 or 3 minutes, then let it cool for half an hour.

Obviously, if the bloating doesn't go away, it's best to see a doctor. These teas are more like a supplement, not the ultimate solution. But at least they are natural options worth experimenting with.
