Opinion: Trump still clearly favors a "pressure-first" strategy
BlockBeats message, April 2—Pepperstone Group research strategist Dilin Wu said that Trump’s remarks are indeed disappointing. While Trump announced his victory, he also threatened to target Iran’s energy and power infrastructure, and said that he might launch major strikes within the next two or three weeks—this actually means “business as usual.”
Judging by recent comments about withdrawing troops from the Middle East, it now looks more like an effort to calm the market while still keeping pressure options on the table. Obviously, he still leans toward a “pressure first” strategy rather than fully cooling things down. (Jin Ten)
