Linux Dirty Frag Vulnerability Allows Low-Privilege Users to Gain Root Access

According to ChainCatcher, citing Mist’s Chief Information Security Officer 23pds, a critical privilege escalation vulnerability named Dirty Frag has been discovered in Linux systems. The flaw allows any low-privileged local user to directly obtain root access on virtually all major Linux distributions. The vulnerability is a deterministic logic flaw requiring no complex race conditions, with extremely high success rates and no risk of kernel crashes.
