No matter how much you add up what I’m wearing head to toe, it’s still not enough money to even buy a single cigar. Sigh—if Bitcoin keeps dropping like this, I won’t even be able to afford to smoke a cigar.

What IB develops in children is their comprehensive ability, in every aspect. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied. Especially in team collaboration—on the assessment we got 9 points, the highest. Our scores are also an average of 4 points—middle level; still not good enough. IB requires at least 6 points in every subject, damn it. But for our kind of rough-and-ready family, the priority is staying healthy, growing up happy to 18, and getting into a good university. Just live in a safer country with a better environment—that’s enough. Small wealth and contentment!

We’re currently in G10, and we’ll be taking the IBDP in 2028. From what I can see, the child’s school education is very satisfactory. In terms of language, English is the “mother tongue,” the first language; Spanish is the second language. Mandarin is also the mother tongue—it’s the mother’s language. Fujianese is spoken as well. However, the child can’t write Chinese characters. Recently, I registered the child for a UK summer camp. It required a certain IELTS score, but I didn’t understand the details. As a result, during the video interview, the child was directly exempted from having to pr

After getting IB, I went overseas for university. So during middle school, I started applying for investment immigration to obtain overseas status. In G1, with my overseas status, I studied at a mainland international school under the IB program. All the way through G4—because I was doing business in the Philippines—I transferred to a school in the Philippines that also offered an IB curriculum. My shallow understanding is that the IB diploma is accepted by most international universities, so there are options to choose from. At worst, as an overseas Chinese student, I could take exams to ente

Choosing a survival mode for your kid is like picking easy, medium, or hard in a game. After that, let the kid go down the road themselves. If they choose the right path, the rest will be pretty much the same. One more thing I care a lot about is the environment. Even seeds of mediocre quality, when you plant them in good soil, will turn out pretty much the same—at least they won’t die. But even the best seeds, if you plant them in bad soil, are basically guaranteed to die. Whether a seed is good or bad matters, but the real key is the soil. That’s it—bye. The college entrance exam—what does t

Mainland China's college entrance exam topic. My son was born in 2009, and if he has mainland school registration, he would also need to take the college entrance exam around these two years. But when the child was in kindergarten, it was a public kindergarten at the time. I realized that our family and the child are not suitable for the mainland public education model, I noticed this even from kindergarten. So, when he was in the middle class, we started thinking about choosing a life path for the child. One is the traditional college entrance exam route. The other is an international school,

Today is my wife's birthday, so I give her a red envelope 🧧, anyway, I just move it from my left pocket to my right pocket. But it has emotional value. Which woman doesn't like receiving a check? 🤗

The contract short positions feel so good, but my spot holdings are in the red. This kind of feeling is really hard to describe. 😀
