No need to expect July 29 anymore. The arbitrage channel between the US and South Korean seas has already gone.

After watching “Chinese People Can Fly” by Lao Ge
I want to say: THIS is what real cultural confidence looks like!!!
This is what Huaflow is—truly the coolest.
Real confidence isn’t about always showing your best and most polished side.
This kind of anti-elite performance is actually an embodiment of cultural confidence.

After looking at Tesla’s earnings, Musk said, “Thank Micron for giving them a storage allocation”😂
Everyone knows how scarce storage actually is.
And this is Musk, a practitioner of first principles; if there were any way, he wouldn’t buy at such an expensive price.

At present, institutions (from at least the sell-side perspective) are very demanding about Google’s earnings report. They want Google’s free cash flow to grow significantly, and they also want Google Cloud revenue to be at least in line with Q1 growth (65%+). On top of that, they want Google not to slow down Capex, and they even don’t want it to express any intention to slow down.
But I think tonight’s earnings report will most likely satisfy all the expectations above in full.
1⃣ The prior equity financing proved its CapEx willingness.
2⃣ For cloud computing, the data for Q1 and Q2 in 2025 a

This week, the entire US stock market and South Korean stocks were all bloodbathed, especially in semiconductors. Under the US stock technology momentum factor strategy, it fell 40%, setting the fastest and deepest drawdown record in history.
In contrast, US bank stocks’ earnings reports all came in above expectations (suggesting that consumption and credit have not been an issue). ASML and TSM’s earnings also beat expectations, and their guidance was raised.
The core reason behind this drop is still that storage leverage is too high. The high-position “many-to-sell-many”行情 caused by a cha

Actually, storage now looks a lot like BTC.
The price is no longer determined by fundamentals—now it’s consensus pricing.
The bulls say PE is only 5, long-term contracts lock in supply, expansion is difficult, and spot prices are still rising.
The bears say cyclical stocks, ASP second-derivative slowing, and that Samsung and Hynix will have their profits taken by the US.
Mostly, everyone already knows about storage—even everyone has been shouting “CWW”—so now it’s simply a consensus battle until new data variables come into play.

Looking back, storage stocks are one of the best leading indicators for semiconductors.
Because participants fear the storage cycle the most, they run at the first sign of trouble.
Basically, they’re the most sensitive and flexible capital in the market.
When storage drops, the performance growth of other semiconductor companies starts to look less important.
Conversely, if semiconductors start to bottom out, it’s very likely that storage stocks bottom first and rebound first.

Summarize what happened in the capital markets last night
1⃣ Google Gemini delayed
2⃣ KIMI released a new model, with performance closing in on fable 5
3⃣ The U.S. continued bombing Iran, and Trump is getting tougher this time
Kimi is similar to the previous GLM—everyone is starting to worry that compute capacity might be oversupplied. Why is it that Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic have at least 10 times the compute of domestic model companies, but in terms of model intelligence they are only leading by 3–6 months? It has a bit of a Deepseek 2.0 vibe.
But this kind of thing—when the market rebou

I think the most important piece of information from TSMC today is that it has once again raised capital expenditures to 60-64 billion.
TSMC has always followed a conservative expansion approach; if they haven’t seen actual orders and genuine demand, they wouldn’t ramp up production.
This also indirectly suggests that several major cloud companies may continue raising their capital expenditures during their earnings call meetings at the end of the month.
I don’t know what the market is trading today—so if it falls, buy more.

TSMC earnings call
A researcher asked, “Your monopoly position is higher than that of a certain storage company—why don’t you bring your gross margin up to their level?”
Wei Zhejia replied, “We position ourselves as a partner. We hope our customers succeed, so we don’t want to take too much profit.”
In fact, everything has cause and effect. Back when storage was being pressured to cut prices by smartphone makers, storage may not have escaped kneeling down and asking consumer electronics to raise prices.
And now, of course, those with grudges are getting their revenge.

Changxin Technology is set to list two weeks from now, and I did a simple valuation comparison so that no matter whether it’s before the hype trading, or on the day of listing, you can have a clear mind.
Because the issuance announcement only comes out tonight, here I assume the greenshoe option will be fully exercised.
For revenue, I directly used Semi’s expectations for Changxin: $50 billion in revenue in 2026, and I used Changxin’s Q1 net profit margin of 65%.
Right now on Hyperliquid, the pre-market is 7.7U, which is roughly between 1x and 1.5x Micron’s valuation.
It’s worth noting that on

Chinese concept stocks have been so weak, and one big reason is the VIE structure. Foreign investors simply don’t dare to touch it.
A recent Xiaohongshu layoff case is a great example.
Just before taking the options, Xiaohongshu’s South China direct sales head Chen Hao was laid off, with the goal of denying him his equity.
Chen Hao wasn’t an easy target—he sued directly in court, arguing that he had been the top salesperson for years; why claim his competence was lacking and lay him off to forfeit his equity.
The court ruled in Chen Hao’s favor.
But there were dozens of employees in similar si

I now feel that our country’s “retail investors” have been taking the blame for Crypto’s big swings for too many years.
I think it’s those “Koreans” who are the real troublemakers behind why Crypto volatility is so massive. 🥲🥲🥲

Everyone is hoping for a “dead storage” situation, but the reality is: if storage keeps falling, then no matter how good other assets’ earnings forecasts are, and no matter how impressive the financial reports are, they can’t beat storage.
Especially in China’s A-share market: even if Geonbuy (江波龙) had a profit growth of, like, 600x—600x isn’t 600%. When everyone sees the storage business’s performance is this strong yet it still drops, and your performance is only doubling, then you shouldn’t be rising. That’s why one company like Hynix can drag down the US, A, and H shares.

You’re saying that today, Haili was already trading at a discount and still dropped 15%?
Only Meili, which was trading at a premium of nearly 20%, dropped 6%?
Koreans don’t deserve to own Hynix.

Hynix is down.
After it drops, in the evening the US stock market you see Hynix down; DRAM starts to fall too.
When Koreans wake up and see DRAM is down, Hynix continues to fall.
