Bank of America just named new leadership for its global digital assets platform — and this isn't a side experiment anymore. The bank is building real infrastructure for tokenized deposits, stablecoins, and digital collateral, calling it "mutual fund 3.0."

This follows similar moves from Morgan Stanley and Vanguard — traditional finance is racing to build actual crypto infrastructure, not just custody wrappers for wealthy clients.

When a bank this size creates C-suite roles for digital assets, it's a signal worth watching closely. DYOR.
