Some regions have rolled out supporting measures such as promoting consumption and encouraging parents to take time off, in hopes of achieving the purpose of setting spring and autumn breaks.

In Jiangsu Province, spring break in cities such as Nanjing and Suzhou runs from April 1 to 3,連休 with the Qingming holiday, forming a 6-day “mini-holiday.” Within Sichuan Province, the spring break period in Chengdu will be independently selected by each district/city/county based on local conditions; most schedule spring break for April 1 to 3. In Hubei Province, places such as Enshi have the same spring break schedule from April 1 to 3. In some districts and counties in Chongqing, the spring break totals two days, with one day before and one day around the Qingming Festival.
