Recently, many people are considering purchasing a pressure washer for cleaning the exterior walls and balconies of their homes. There are various brands like Karcher, Makita, Iris Ohyama, and many others, so the options are really plentiful. With so many factors to check—water pressure, noise level, size, whether it's cordless or not—it can be overwhelming to decide.

When comparing some of the best-selling pressure washers, I realized that balancing water pressure and quiet operation is really important. The Kyocera "RYOBI AJP-2030" delivers over 20 times the water pressure of a standard tap, effectively removing stubborn dirt, and has a cleaning area of 593cm2, which is quite wide. However, it produces 77.6dB of noise, so it's best used during daytime.

Karcher's "K3 Silent Plus" has a water pressure 11.4 times higher than standard, and a noise level of 75.3dB, making it relatively quiet and suitable for residential neighborhoods. Makita's high-performance model offers 8.4 times the water pressure and achieves 83% water savings, which is great for those concerned about water bills.

Cordless pressure washers are also becoming more popular. Komeri's UBERMANN model uses a 36V battery and delivers over 20 times the water pressure of a standard tap, while the Koshin model is uniquely designed to be worn on your back, making it convenient for work in places without power outlets. However, cordless models tend to have a narrower cleaning range.

If noise is a concern, look for quiet models around 75–78dB. If you want maximum power, choose models with high water pressure. The variety of accessories is also subtly important—more nozzle options allow for a wider range of cleaning tasks, from car washing to exterior wall cleaning. The key to a successful choice is to prioritize based on your needs: whether cordless or wired, noise level, or cleaning power.
