I just found out about all the drama between Rick Harrison and his son Corey Harrison, and honestly, it's pretty uncomfortable. Basically, Corey had a very serious accident in Tulum recently—motorcycle, very bad. He ended up with 11 broken ribs, a perforated lung, internal bleeding... he was in critical condition for several days. He was transferred between hospitals in Playa del Carmen and Mérida, and had to undergo three emergency surgeries.
The strange thing is that after all that, Corey Harrison started a GoFundMe campaign to cover medical expenses, and here’s the juicy part: his dad Rick came out saying he had already paid all the bills long before. But Corey responds that no, his father only covered half. It’s like a ping pong game of different versions, and honestly, no one knows who’s right.
Rick insisted that he doesn’t want to discuss this publicly, that he prefers to resolve it by talking directly with Corey. He says there’s no payment agreement, and it would be good if Corey paid him back but without pressure. Corey, on his side, responded sarcastically, something like “if he decided I don’t have to pay him, happy birthday to me.” The fundraiser has raised over $13,500, so at least people are supporting. The important thing now should be that Corey Harrison recovers well, right? All this family drama in the media doesn’t help anyone.
