Data: Metaplanet increased its holdings by a total of 5,075 BTC in the first quarter, bringing the total holdings to 40,177 BTC.
ChainCatcher message: Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich said the company purchased 5,075 BTC at an average price of about $79,898 per coin in the first quarter of 2026. Total investment was approximately $405.48 million, and the bitcoin return year-to-date is 2.8%.
As of March 31, the company has cumulatively held 40,177 BTC, with a total cost of approximately $4.18 billion and an average cost of about $104,106.
