#BTC Thursday Afternoon, April 2nd: Latest Ideas and Analysis on Bitcoin and Ethereum
Take it slow. Who isn’t learning to cross the river by feeling the stones, experiencing crashes and self-healing along the way? Looking back, Bitcoin started to decline from 68,653 earlier today, dropping to a low of 66,217, now hovering around 66,400-66,000. Ethereum followed Bitcoin’s lead, peaking at 2,158 before falling, with a low of 2,037, currently fluctuating around 2,050. Earlier, Xiaoyao led students to short both Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Based on the current market, the four-hour chart previously showed continuous oscillation upward but failed to extend further. The bulls have been unable to break new highs. Then, a single bearish candlestick with increased volume dropped sharply, breaking through the middle support line, shifting the structure from strong to weak. The short-term bullish trend’s continuation seems to have paused for now. From a short-term rhythm perspective, after the sharp decline, there was no inertia to continue falling; instead, the market stabilized. At this point, chasing short positions again is clearly not advisable.
