ME News message, on March 31 (UTC+8), Web3 security and analytics firm FuzzLand intern researcher Chaofan Shou posted on X that the source code of Anthropic’s terminal development tool Claude Code appears to have been leaked via a map file in its NPM registry, and the related compressed package has been publicly downloaded. Netizens said that someone had backed up the full code and uploaded it to a GitHub repository named “claude-code,” and shared that it contains a large number of TODO comments and hints of undisclosed features. So far, there is no evidence showing that this repository or compressed package was officially authorized by Anthropic, and Anthropic has also not yet publicly responded to the alleged leak.
