U.S. stocks posted their biggest single-day gain since May last year; the monthly decline remains around 5%.

Gelonghui, April 1|On Tuesday in U.S. Eastern Time, the Dow, the S&P 500, and the Nasdaq all recorded their largest single-day gains since May 12 of last year. The S&P 500 fell 5.1% in March, the Nasdaq fell 4.75%, and the Dow fell 5.38%. The Dow ended a 10-month streak of gains and logged its largest monthly drop since September 2022.
