Just finished lunch and opened the chart. The price had been moving sideways in a strong posture, but in the blink of an eye it started to roll over to the downside. When the market repeatedly whipsawed intraday, I noticed that $ICP had a very hard time on every rebound. The overhead suppression never really loosened. The buy-side looked like it was moving, but in reality there was no sustained follow-through. Seeing that ICP’s volume didn’t catch up and that nobody was receiving on the way up, I stopped waiting for some so-called bullish continuation and executed a long when it approached 2.528.

From this trade’s opening to now, the price has already moved to 2.1. The post-trade review result is +815.33%. Feeling like I nailed the rhythm is indeed satisfying.

Don’t be greedy for the last bite. First close +815.33% to let the profits land safely in your pocket; the remaining 67% will be used for cost protection. If it continues to dip further, let it run on its own; if it suddenly rebounds, it won’t mean giving all the profits back.

Risk control done upfront is called rationality; cutting losses only after they’re in the red is called a brave, decisive severing. This isn’t the time to rush. Wait for a new structure to form, then reassess—there will be opportunities. Don’t be impatient.
