XAU: The short position at 4115-4120 that I mentioned yesterday was skipped on the second probe, so we shorted at 4110 instead and took profit at 4165 in the US evening session, making 45 points. Today overall is also ranging with no big swings to trade; treat it as a 5-minute setup. When it reaches the levels, just enter and take around 20 points. Currently, long positions are around 4042; you can also try around 4020. For shorts, wait until it reaches around 4085 and then short.

ETH: The short position at 1985 that I mentioned yesterday—at night it surged up to 1977. The move was too fast. I originally planned to enter when the 5-minute candle made a second probe, but it dropped directly. We didn’t catch that big meat trade, and it’s truly a pity. After it dropped, around 1920 we took a long again: first take-profit at 1945, second take-profit at 1965. This morning I checked—TP1 had been hit, and TP2 closed at breakeven after stopping out with no loss. Luckily, we still managed to capture over 20 points. For today’s market, it most likely ranges with a slight bearish bias—so both longs and shorts have opportunities. You can look to buy around 1860 and 1820; you can also short around 1920.
