This world desperately paints victories, portrays success, as if the one crowned with a laurel is the defender of success—and the one left out is the loser, the failed man.
However, success is limited. No matter how hard you try, how desperately you fight, your province can have only one hundred people in total admitted to Tsinghua and Peking University. So are these one hundred people the ones who build society? The answer is precisely the opposite. The mainstream should not be promoting the glory of victory after reaping benefits, but rather promoting the act of trying hard and then accepting failure. Because that is what makes up, what builds, and what turns you into the “majority” of the whole world.
Perhaps this world never should have had any so-called “success.”
Don’t belittle yourself out of thin air, because with you just like this, you absolutely won’t be stuck just like this. Your future has only just begun. It’s all in your hands. There is nothing like “life entering a difficult mode”—what there is, is only finding your direction and then taking big steps forward.
