July 27 Fund-Pulling Lady – Huang Yu Morning Report

Short-term recovery shows little momentum; rebounds remain dominated by overhead pressure
1. Looking back at the market, after the jin price big drop, it rebounded slightly from the lows to the current price of 4090. On the hourly chart, price is under pressure near the upper Bollinger band around 4088. The upward momentum on the attempted push higher is clearly insufficient. It failed to effectively hold above and break out. Strong resistance lies at 4088 and 4147, while key supports are at 4053 and 4018. The previous round of sharp decline opened the downward “channel,” and this current move is only a technical small rebound after oversold conditions—not a trend reversal. The “head” resistance/turnback support is weak.
2. From the news side, this rebound has no major “profit-sensitive” data support; it relies only on the passive repair caused by profit-taking from “head.” The US dollar remains firmly high. The market is still cautious about the Fed’s rate cuts, lacking fundamental positive catalysts. The upside room for the gold price rebound is severely limited, and the risk of “pushing higher then rolling over” keeps increasing.

Strategy:
Plan staggered positions on “head” in the rebound 4100–4085 range, targets at 4050, and watch for downside toward 4020 key support.
