PUMP at $0.002—do you dare to bet?

First, look at the surface: massive unlocks + fear of sell pressure, making retail investors tremble.

What happened in the past three weeks? On July 12, there was a cliff-like unlock of 82.5 billion PUMP, worth $130 million; on July 15, another 57.2 billion was unlocked and distributed to 121 wallets. With a total supply of 1 trillion tokens, only 400 billion are in circulation—suddenly adding nearly 140 billion of potential sell pressure.

The market was supposed to crash, right?

But PUMP didn’t crash. Instead, it violently rebounded from $0.00115 to $0.002, up 74%.

First: $124 million unlocked—price doesn’t drop, it rises instead. The market has already digested it.

On July 12, the team and investor tokens were unlocked for the first time, with 82.5 billion entering the market. On July 15, another 57.2 billion was unlocked and distributed to 121 wallets.

Sounds terrifying? But look closely—PUMP didn’t crash. Instead, it climbed from $0.0015 before the unlock all the way to $0.002.

Second: KOL Ansem is in—but you might get carried along the script.

On July 20, crypto KOL Ansem, with 500k followers, publicly announced that he bought PUMP around $0.001675. He laid out four points:

Pumpfun still makes $30–40 million per month in a bear market, making it one of the most profitable protocols in DeFi

Solana’s retail cycle is coming back—Pumpfun, as the largest launch platform, directly benefits

If the team does large-scale airdrops, it could replicate the Jito and Jupiter blow-off playbook

Backed by real revenue, not “air tokens”

Third: the fundamentals may be harder than you think.

Pumpfun isn’t an “air token” project. It’s the largest meme coin launchpad on Solana, with historical cumulative revenue exceeding $800 million.

Weekly revenue is $7.2 million, with 50% of it directly used for buybacks and burning PUMP. To date, it has cumulatively bought back and burned nearly 15% of the total supply, burning more than $400 million.

In the first week of July, Pumpfun even surpassed Uniswap to become the #1 DEX by 24-hour trading volume.

Bull vs bear—judge for yourself.

On one side:

$30–40 million in monthly revenue, supported by real cash flow

Cumulatively bought back and burned nearly 15% of supply—deflation continues

The July unlock overhang has already been digested, and price doesn’t fall but rises instead

KOLs like Ansem enter + Solana retail warms up

Technicals: PO3 structure is in an “expansion phase”

On the other side:

Nearly 140 billion tokens unlocked in July; there may still be sell pressure afterward

Buyback amount in the first half of 2026 down 67% year over year

Platform revenue depends on meme hype—highly cyclical

Market cap $100 million, FDV $200 million—there’s room to double, but also risk of a 50% haircut

Daily technical rating is still “sell”

Key levels

Upper resistance: $0.0022–$0.0025 → $0.0030+

Lower support: $0.0018–$0.0019 → $0.0016–$0.0017

For short-term traders:

Buy in batches on pullbacks to $0.00185–$0.00195; stop-loss at $0.00175; first target $0.0024–$0.0026. If it breaks above $0.0021, you can chase, with the stop-loss moved to $0.00195.

For swing traders:

Wait for volume expansion and add positions once it holds above $0.002; target $0.0030+. If it breaks below $0.0018, exit unconditionally.

For long-term believers:

DCA in batches below $0.0018, but keep position size to 10–15% of total capital. The fundamentals of PUMP are improving, but it’s a high-volatility asset—don’t go all-in.

Risk-control iron rules:

Never risk more than 5% of total capital per single trade

Spot-first, leverage no more than 3x

Monitor Pump.fun’s daily revenue—if revenue drops, price will likely follow

PUMP now looks like Jito at the end of 2023—

99% of people think: “So many tokens just unlocked, it’s definitely going to drop.” In the end, the bottom broke out on volume—and it never looked back. #GUSD年化升至3.8% #ETH突破1900美元 #夏日创作营 $BTC $ETH $PUMP
