This short position finally came to fruition, and the answer the chart gave was very direct. When $TAO surged earlier, many people were still watching for a breakout, but I was instead more concerned with how fast it pulled back after facing pressure at the high.

I went short around 270.4, not because I was trying to guess the top, but because the repeated tests above failed to hold—when the buy pressure weakened, the structure clearly changed. What really caught my attention was that every time the price bounced back, it couldn’t push up, while key levels were slowly being pressed down. Once this kind of rhythm is confirmed, shorts can easily follow through and release pressure.

Now the price is at 196.3, and this trade’s profit is already up +1319.71%. The room in this move has been released pretty decisively. For brothers with larger positions, I’ll lean toward handling it in batches with an 80/20 split: first lock in part of the profit, and use the rest with protective levels to continue watching for further extension, so you don’t let unrealized gains get given back too easily.

This move wasn’t chased out—it was waiting for the market itself to reveal its weakness. If you didn’t catch it, don’t rush. Chasing a short now will more easily get swept by a rebound. Just be patient and wait for the next more comfortable entry.
