This sell-off just now was very typical: $TRB first swept across the upper area, giving the illusion that it was about to push higher—then, not long after, it started dumping down. A lot of people got tricked into entering by that dead-cat bounce; I wasn’t focused on how fast it surged, but on whether it held after topping out.

The short position was taken around 17.31. The most crucial point during the process was that the price repeatedly failed to return to the strong range, which indicates that sell pressure above has been persistent. You can’t just judge the order book by a single K-line— the more it looks like it’s about to break out, the more you need to observe whether capital is willing to keep absorbing.

Now the price is at 15.57, and the unrealized profit shows +717.34%, with room for volatility opening up. Here I choose to do an 80/20 split: I take some profit first, and use the rest with protective levels to lock it in. I’m not afraid of making less—I’m afraid of being right all along, only to have the final pullback grind it away.

This short is realized through patience, not impulse. If you missed it, don’t rush—don’t chase another trade, and don’t open shorts chaotically just as prices keep falling. Wait for a more comfortable entry point.
