This short position is really comfortable. $ESPORTS went from a fake rally at the top to turning weak—the shift in rhythm is very obvious.

At the start, the market looked pretty strong. There were wave after wave of pullbacks upward. Many people thought it would keep pushing higher. But what truly caught my attention was this: every time the price surged higher, it couldn’t hold. Instead, the lower levels got pressed down deeper and deeper. This kind of contrarian expectation is the easiest to trigger a big move.

I chose to open the short near 0.04371—not because of emotional impulse, but because the structure had clearly changed. Now the price is at 0.01959, and the return rate is already +1086.07%. Once the room for volatility opened up, the pace of short-side profit-taking was even more decisive than I expected.

One thing I want to say here: when you’re in profit, you need to stay even calmer. If your position size is light, you can keep an eye on the protective level. If your position size is heavy, don’t get greedy—handling it with an 80/20 split feels more comfortable: lock in the profits first, and then follow the chart with the rest. Don’t wait until the pullback comes back and only then remember that there was already a profit-taking window just now.

Don’t force it if you didn’t get in. Don’t chase the order, and don’t chase shorts down at the lows. Wait for the next time there’s a more certain level.
