Today’s $CHZ short position is most interesting in the contrast. Many people see high-level consolidation and still think it will keep pushing up, but the more I watch, the less at ease I feel—because every time there’s increased volume above CHZ, it never really opens up room.

Before the move, I’d already noticed changes—especially rebounds getting more and more urgent, while the pullbacks are unequivocal. To be honest, this kind of market is the easiest to fool people who lack patience: they chase a little higher, cut a little lower, and end up getting cleaned up back and forth. I chose to open long near 0.01844, only moving after it showed a pressure signal.

Later, from 0.01844 to 0.01702, +370.84% has already been realized. There were some back-and-forth along the way, but those few rebounds didn’t change the weak rhythm—the position could still be held.

Now I don’t plan to add more drama. Do 80/20 in batches, and keep the protective stop-loss moved up in sync with the progress. When trades are in profit, it’s easiest to develop a hallucination that you’ve seen through everything—when in reality, you just happened to time this rhythm correctly. If I miss the next one, I won’t chase; I’ll wait for the next clean opportunity.
