#WorldCupChampionPrediction

My World Cup Champion Pick Is Set, But One Dark Horse Is Making Me Sweat You can really start to feel the pressure cooker intensify at this stage of the tournament, where every single game has the feel of a final. The room for error is pretty much nonexistent which is what has made picking the eventual champion so much harder than it was just weeks ago. Since we’ve been able to observe the teams play under extreme conditions, I’ve found that I am now focusing less on who has the most individual talent and more on which team is the calmest under fire.

Very few tournaments are decided solely on a team’s ability to attack; they are usually decided by whichever team can hold steady on defence, adjust on the go, and make their opportunities count.

Right now, my favourite to win it all still lies with a well-established nation that has displayed a remarkable level of consistency in all areas of the park. That said, there is one outsider I can’t take my eyes off. This team plays with a discipline, organization, and a confidence about them that make them extremely dangerous in knockout games. Prediction markets are also adding an entirely new level of entertainment and intrigue to this World Cup experience.

They are not only about picking a winner but learning what those who “know” (or think they do!)

are doing and you can use those odds to adjust your own predictions in real-time. Patience really is key as the tournament progresses – a gut instinct, an overly emotional prediction will cost you. This is why I am confident in the selection I have made for the moment, but honestly, you can never be entirely sure of the World Cup until the very last moment and this tournament always finds a way of proving this once again.

So for the purposes of today, the answer is pretty simple: The experience is still a slight favourite over momentum but that is rapidly closing. Who do you have going all the way and what makes your pick special?
