Saipan Court Sentences Woman to 71 Months in Bitcoin Fraud Case

A U.S. federal court sentenced Sze Man Yu Inos in Saipan to 71 months in prison for a bitcoin-related wire fraud scheme. The court also ordered $769,355 in restitution and a $684,848 criminal forfeiture money judgment. Prosecutors said Inos targeted older women in Saipan and Guam with false bitcoin investment claims and later expanded the scheme to Washington and California.
